How to become smarter as a  young entrepreneur

1. Use social media as a medium of continuous learning.

Follow accounts that post about the things you find interest in. Follow accounts or people who talk about self development, entrepreneurship or your other interests. By so doing, even if you spend 2 hours on your phone scrolling through social media you will learn something useful from people who have done it or who are already where you want to go to.

2. Read good books

Reading obviously opens your mind to a lot of information that can help you achieve your goals. Especially if you read a book that is inline with your vision. Sometimes you might just read a good book and directly get ideas from there that solve a problem in your business.

3. Always be curious and willing to learn new things.

Ask questions to other people who have done what you want to do and have succeeded or failed at it. Sometimes you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Do what has been tested and shown to work. So talk to those who have done it.

4. Spend more time creating and building a business or startup that can solve a pertinent problem in the society. The best way to learn is to do. You can read and have a lot of knowledge but without doing, it’s hard to bring that knowledge to life. Be passionate about solving difficult problems, for that’s how you unlock your dormant potentials.

Thanks a lot for these kind words of wisdom and inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs like myself. Using social media the right way can definitely uplift one’s intellect greatly. Applying what we learn so as to get experience and a sense of accomplishment as we watch it grow despite the challenges that comes with it.
